William Aston,
Today you are ten months old. We are just two short months away from your first birthday! CRAZY! Tomorrow we are going to go start shopping for birthday supplies! YAY! This past month hasn't brought too many changes for you. You're a lot chubbier though than you were a month ago! You are a BIG boy!
You are now wearing all 6-9, 6-12, or 9-12 month clothes. You're still in size 3 diapers and wear a size 3 or 4 shoe. I allowed daycare to start feeding you various table foods and these past couple of weeks I've been doing it at home with you. You won't eat anything we give you though. You'll put it in your mouth and just spit it back out. The only thing you will eat are the Nutri-Grain bars and the Gerber ones. You still eat all your normal baby foods. Oh and I gave your the Gerber Arrowroot cookies. You and Dada both love those. So far between home and daycare, we've tried feeding you pancakes, corn, peas, cheese, strawberries, peaches, avocado, macaroni & cheese, spaghetti-o's, ravioli, Ritz crackers, turkey lunch meat, lasagna, carrots, and bananas. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. We'll keep trying, but geez we're wasting lots of food!
You now have 8 teeth! I noticed your 7th one on Tuesday or Wednesday and saw no sign of number 8, but it was there on Friday! Needless to say, you've been a very fussy baby!
This past month you:
*went to the eye doctor to check your Ptosis on your left eye. You check out fine at this time, but we did learn that your right eye is dominant over your left. Because of that you have to wear an eye patch for 30 minutes everyday and we go back in April to have your eyes rechecked.
*got two more ear infections which caused us to have to see an ENT and you will now be getting tubes in 10 days.
*have become a very speedy walker with you're motorcycle and can crawl even faster.
*learned to give Mama kisses.
*say Mama! YAY!
*appear to know what Dada and Mama mean when you say it.
*yell....and roar/growl ALL.THE.TIME.
*still sleep in bed with us. My plan was to kick you out this week while we're home for Spring Break, but I don't see that happening. =)
*can stand for a few seconds on your own and think its funny when Mama catches you when you start to fall down.
*decided to have the biggest blow-out on the way to the doctor and I didn't bring extra clothes because we never need them and we were only going to the doctor! POOP. EVERYWHERE. I looked like a fabulous mother in the doctor's office. You had no socks, no pants, and it was 45 degrees outside!
*celebrated your first Valentine's Day.
*learned how to pull all the toilet paper off the roll.
*become very entertained by door stoppers (yes, we took off all the white caps).
*learned to close doors.
*got to taste Mama's ice cream.
I think that is everything. I really need to do a better job of writing things down when they happen.
Now it's time for the photo dump...
Waiting to see the eye doctor.
Wearing the same shoes as Dada.
If something isn't in your mouth such as the table, then your tongue must be out.
Hungry boy.
Getting you ready for bed after bath time has become very difficult.
Shopping with Mama.
Contained.
And the ear infection came back...again.
So cute.
Playing.
Mama's two favorite men.
Silly boy.
