Three Months!

My little man is 3 months old today!  UNBELIEVABLE!  As much as I miss when he was tiny and loved to do nothing but snuggle with me, I am loving seeing him play, smile, attempting to laugh, and "talk".

William Aston,
At 3 months, you weigh 12 lbs. and 6 oz. and are 23 in. long.  You're still wearing 3 months clothes and you actually had on a newborn outfit yesterday.  You're still wearing size 1 diapers during the day and size 2 for bedtime.  You're drinking 4oz every 2-3 hours.  You go to bed around 11 and wake up anywhere between 7 and 9.  You're sleeping longer in your rock-n-lay bed (until about 6 a.m.) and then get in bed with Mommy.  For the longest time it was 1:30-2:30 a.m. when you wanted in the bed with me.  We have made frequent trips to the doctor trying to put an end to your spit-up problem.  We just finished our last attempt to fix the problem (adding cereal to your bottles and getting Prilosec twice a day) before having an ultrasound done to check for problems.
You love to "talk" to yourself on your play mat.  You stare in the mirror and just go crazy making noise and smiling away.  A couple of days ago you made all kinds of happy sounds during tummy time instead of screaming like normal.  It was so cute and I recorded part of it.   You've started sitting in your Bumbo and love it!

You start daycare in a little over a week.  I'm so sad to leave you and you have me very worried.  You currently want nothing to do with anyone else.  You scream with other people who aren't Mommy or Daddy.  These past couple of days you have gotten a little better, but eventually you want nothing to do with whoever has you and want Mommy.

You have changed so much in the past month and I can't wait to see you grow and do new things this next month.  Mommy loves you so much!

Splash Pad!

Yesterday we took Will to a neighborhood splash pad for the first time.  Colin was sure he was going to cry, but we got absolutely no reaction from the little man.

Here is a short video that Daddy took when we first stood him in the water.
Little man wasn't phased at all.

Yesterday was also Uncle Chris's birthday, so Will sent him this picture to wish him happy birthday!
